We are beyond happy to be offering young ginger for the second season in a row! This winter, with help from the fine folks at the Kootenay Co-op in Nelson, we again sourced certified organic stock from Peru. We learned lots from last year and have grown a beautiful crop! Young ginger is thin skinned, tender, and has a gentle pink blush. The flavour is magnificent and is there even in the stalk and greens. We know that many of you have been waiting for this with much anticipation. Here it is! NOTE: Fresh young ginger will not keep for long. Plan to preserve by freezing, drying, pickling, etc..
