Field to Doorstep Goodness
2026 is our 12th season harvesting the best of what our fields have to offer and delivering it directly to our customers. Each week, we hand pick a variety of delicious, nutritious, organic vegetables for you. Deliveries may also include herbs. We pack cherries, plums, or apples when we have bounty to share.
Eating from the garden connects you to here and now. As each season unfolds, the garden changes. Deliveries reflect this unfolding. Receive a different selection each time we harvest for you. Experience the joys of seasonal eating… tomatoes growing more luxurious in summer’s heat, root veggies sweetening with each cold autumn night.
Every delivery bag comes stapled with a sheet of simple, inspiring recipes and a note from the field.
Signing up for the season supports local food security and gets you a better value for your money.
Cartwheel Community
Cartwheel deliveries connect about 200 local households to the farm and each other. Many of you have been with us for more than a decade. Some of you count on us to top up your home garden, while others look to us because you can no longer grow your own. Some households are bursting with kiddos, others are single eater homes. Whatever the case, we have options that will work for you!
We deliver to through much of ʔamakʔis yaqan nuʔkiy. We visit Creston, Erickson, Canyon, Bountiful, Lower Kootenay Band, plus parts of Lister, Kitchener, and West Creston on Wednesdays. On Fridays, we deliver to parts of Lakeview-Arrowcreek, plus Wynndel, Sirdar, and up the East Shore of Kootenay Lake as far as Riondel.

Customise Your Deliveries
Add-ons let you add more of the produce that you eat the most.
If you love greens, we have you covered! Sign up for our Greens Lovers’ Add-on and we’ll bring you extra greens to complement each delivery.
What about herbs? Yup! We offer a Herb Lovers’ Add-on, too.
Need more veg other veggies? We are introducing a new add-on… not greens, not herbs. Think root veggies, broccoli, beans, and more!
Add-ons are all about making sure you receive the right quantity and variety of veg. Feel free to opt in or out part way through the season to make things work for you.
The Cost
What we offer is reasonably priced compared with grocery store pricing, but choosing a season of local food is about more than affordability. We offer exceptional quality, caring service, and dependability. We haven’t missed a week of deliveries in over a decade!
Plus, signing up for the season brings us all stability. We know that we will be growing for you. You lock in the price of your produce for the whole delivery season!
We have lowered the cost of a standard delivery. Add-on prices and deliver fees are the same as they have been for the past two seasons.
- Produce cost: Produce can come your way weekly ($33/delivery), every other week ($36/delivery), or on a custom schedule ($40/delivery). Our pricing is linked to how often we come your way.
- Add-ons: Greens ($7.50), Herbs ($4), Good Ol’ Veg ($5).
- Delivery cost: We have 5 delivery zones and charge a modest fee ($3-7) based on your distance from the farm.
Eating locally builds community and supports your home economy!
Payment
For 2026 we are offering two main payment options:
- Upfront payments are especially important after two years of making big investments in the farm. Pay upfront and we will enter you to win your full season FREE!
- You can also pay monthly, though this comes with a small admin fee. (This option is not available for custom delivery schedules.)
If you would like to explore another payment option, we are open to conversation. Please reach out.
Natural Questions
What if I have a food allergy… or very strong dislike?
We cannot fully customise orders to taste, but we know that people eat for their own health. During the registration process, you will be asked if you have allergies or produce that you don’t want to receive. We do our best to substitute any unwanted items with alternatives that complements the rest of the delivery
What if I am away or don’t need a week’s veggies?
We understand! We offer the option to skip a week and then double up later on. We can also arrange to have your delivery made to a neighbour. Donating the worth of your delivery to our Sharing Fund is another option. This helps us to flow food to where there is need in the community. We ask that you let us know at least 3 days in advance. Filling out the simple form on our website or sending an email is all we need to start planning with you.
What if I decide to cancel mid-season?
We are in this together. At Cartwheel Farm we don’t just grow food. We grow food for you. We can plan for the season, plant, tend, and harvest knowing that what we grow will go from our fields to your table. Our commitment to you is a full season of produce. Your commitment to us is a full season of patronage.
We have only had a small number of mid-season cancellations. Our cancellation policy considers 25% of your payment to be a non-refundable deposit, which we may keep if you choose to cancel.
Policy aside, we appreciate your support and understand that life happens. We always do our best to accommodate individual circumstances.
