2O22 CARTWHEEL PRODUCE DELIVERIES
This is our 8th season harvesting the best of what our fields have to offer and delivering it directly to our customers. Each week, we hand pick a good variety of vegetables for you. Deliveries may also include herbs and fruit. As the season unfolds and what is growing changes, so does the selection. Deliveries come with fun, easy recipes for inspiration and a note from the field. Signing up for the season is a way to support our farm and get a better value for your money.

Signing up for the season brings us stability and gives you a savings compared to shopping with us at the Farmers’ Market. After two years of holding our prices steady, we are making a modest increase. This will allow us to continue paying our incredible staff a living wage. We still expect what we offer to be very reasonably priced compared to what is forecasted for grocery store pricing.
- Produce cost:
- Weekly $31/delivery- Your best value! Our thanks for your commitment.
- Bi-weekly $33/delivery
- Custom $35/delivery – Choose any 6 or more weeks of our season.
- Delivery cost: We have four delivery zones. The cost of delivery is staying the same. It ranges from $3 (Creston and Erickson) to $7 (Riondel).
We are offering two main payment options for 2O22.
- Upfront payments help to make our business viable. Make a single payment and get a week FREE!
- We also offer the option to pay in three instalments. We will invoice you for equal portions of the season when you sign up, in late July, and in late September.
- If you would like to explore another payment option, just get in touch.
What if I have a food allergy… or very strong dislike?
We cannot fully customize orders to taste, but we know that people eat for their own health. If you have allergies or produce that you don’t want to receive, just let us know and we will see if we can plan for substitutions.
What if I am away or don’t need a week’s veggies?
We understand! We offer the option to skip a week and then double up later on. We can also arrange to have your delivery made to a friend or to the Gleaners Food Bank. We ask that you let us know at least 3 days in advance. Filling out the simple form on our website or sending an email is all we need to start planning with you.
What if I decide to cancel mid-season?
We are in this together. At Cartwheel Farm we don’t just grow food. We grow food for you. we can plan for the season, plant, tend, and harvest knowing that what we grow will go from our fields to your table. Our commitment to you is a full season of produce. Your commitment to us is a full season of patronage.
We have only had a handful of mid-season cancellations since starting our delivery program. Our cancellation policy considers 25% of your payment to be a non-refundable deposit, which we may keep if you choose to cancel.
Policy aside, we appreciate your support and understand that life happens. We always do our best to accommodate individual circumstances.
We respectfully acknowledge that Cartwheel Farm rests upon the ʔamakʔis Yaqan nuʔkiy – the traditional and unceded territory of the Yaqan nuʔkiy people (Lower Kootenay Band). This farm is in a place that the Yaqan nuʔkiy have called home since time immemorial. We are deeply grateful to be present here. We seek to express that gratitude by farming with reverence for our neighbours, those who came before us, and those who will follow.
